I don’t really have the perfect set of words to define the kinda aura Ayushmann Khurrana has. His career might not revolve around the 100 crore club and the main stream typos, but he surely has always been known for the unconventional films.
From Vicky Donor to Dum Laga ke Haisha and Nautanki Saala to Bareily Ki Barfi, he has proved his potential in every role he played.
When asked about his awkwardness in regards to his over the top and unique choices like Vicky Donor and the recent release “Shubh Mangal Saavdhan”, Ayushmann confesses that I believe it defines being heroic.
The actor talks about the courage that’s needed to act in a movie which revolves around a topic, which in real life is almost too difficult to narrate.
Be it sperm donation or erectile dysfunction, men in our society might never be able to gather the courage to actually open about these aspects.
He confesses, how he actually wants to redefine the image of being a hero in Bollywood. I have always loved to do movies that spread a social message or have something to impart in terms of knowledge or faith….faith to face and accept, it’s a life we all deserve, don’t we? Why fear?
I believe we need more actors like Ayushmann in Bollywood, actors who can actually redefine the term “hero”.
